Inspired by the Tower of London poppy installation, year seven students at Broadwater CofE Middle School created their own poppies made from clay, which will be planted in the school’s prayer garden tomorrow.

Head of year seven Jo Eccles said: “It’s really moved a lot of the children. I think it’s brought history alive for them.”
