Scientific unit at house in Goring after body found

Forensics officers from Sussex Police are carrying out investigations at a house in Goring.

The scientific support branch is currently at the scene in Sea Lane and a police officer is guarding the door to a property there.

Sussex Police said: “Police were called to the premises at 7.40am and a woman’s body has been recovered. She is believed to have been in her 60s.

“The coroner’s office has been informed and the death is being treated as unexplained.”
