FRIENDS OF SEDLESCOMBE CHURCH: You will have seen the appeal recently for goods to sell at the jumble sale on October 31 at the village hall but what is the Friends of Sedlescombe Church? This heritage charity trust was formed in 1993 by the late Beryl Lucey to assist in the maintenance of our historic church whether you are a user or not. It is to encourage the support of all those who live, have lived or have visited the building to ensure it is kept for future generations to enjoy its history as an integral part of the village. Many interesting details of its historical features can be found in the green membership leaflets available from Sally on 01580830813 or from the church. The AGM of the Trust will be on Monday November 9 at 7pm at Asselton House, The Green, Sedlescombe, if you would like to find out more and meet some of the members then you will be very welcome to share in the refreshments after the short meeting.
QUILT SHOW I know many of you are interested in the events run in support of St Michaels Hospice and here is one close to home at Sedlescombe village hall on Saturday November 21 and Sunday November 22 to mark in your diary .Enjoy a beautiful selection of quilts at the Quilt Show.
