The team is inviting people to come see what goes on behind the scenes this Sunday, June 18, from 10am to 4pm.

The state of the art building on Kingston Beach will be welcoming visitors who can go aboard the all weather Tamar lifeboat and D-class inshore lifeboat in the station.

Visitors can meet the volunteer lifeboat crew and see the lifeboat models on display by the lifeboat model society. There is a competition for children and adults to get dressed in lifeboat crew kit as quickly as possible. The fastest will win a day with the lifeboat crew. The sea safety team will be on hand to give advice as well and the children can meet RNLI mascot Stormy Stan or have their face painted.

There will also be a bouncy castle, a tombola and refreshments stalls. Free admission. All proceeds go to Shoreham RNLI.
