Serious RTC on A24 near Ashington
Emergency services are currently on the scene of a serious collision on the A24 near Ashington (Monday, August 12).
Police were called at 2.30pm on Monday, August 12, to the report of a collision southbound, just north of the Ashington turn off on the A24.
The road is closed in both directions northbound, up to Buck Barn.
It is causing considerable traffic congestion, and drivers are asked to avoid the area if possible.
