Sidley paper-boy attacked by motorist

A PAPER boy suffered what police later described as "minor injuries" when an irate motorist allegedly grabbed him by the throat.

Now PC Jez Lowe of the Bexhill Neighbourhood Policing Team is appealing for any witnesses to the incident which happened at about 7am last Friday morning.

Inspector Max Mosley said the motorist remonstrated with the paper boy after he had to take avoiding action when the boy rode out of Beatrice Walk into Gunters Lane on his cycle.

After an exchange of words, the paper boy rode off. The incident occurred after the motorist drove after him.
