SHOREHAM companies should stand up and be counted, says the town’s MP.

Tim Loughton, who represents Shoreham and East Worthing, has urged local businesses to get involved with Manufacturing Excellence 2012, a UK-wide awards programme for manufacturing businesses.

He said: “I’m calling for businesses to apply and take advantage of the programme. Entry is free and there is up to £20,000 free consultancy advice up for grabs, as well as the chance to win at the prestigious Manufacturing Excellence Awards in November.
