Single vehicle collision in Lancing

Emergency services were called to a single vehicle road traffic collision in Lancing last night (Friday, March 24).

A spokesman for Sussex Police said they were called to Coombes Road, Lancing shortly after 6.30pm.

He said: “There was a single vehicle road traffic collision but thankfully there were no injuries.

“If you are the good samaritan who left a brand new coat to keep the driver warm, please call us on 101.”

Police were joined by crews from the fire and ambulance services.

The road was cleared and reopened shortly after 7.30pm.
