SKATEPARK GRANT HOPE
YOUNGSTERS hoping to get a skatepark build in Uckfield are making a bid for a £10,000 grant to boost the project.
Members of the skatepark committee met on Sunday in Luxford Field car park to help complete an application form.
Daniel Scott, member of the 'Young Ones', is helping the Uckfield Regeneration Partnership (URP) co-ordinate future users of the skatepark and their input to the scheme. There are currently several fund applications in the pipeline, and as a total of 100,000 will be needed to build the planned 'state-of-the art' site.
