Snow White and the Huntsman stars at Arundel Castle

STARS of Snow White and the Huntsman, tipped to be one of the box office blockbusters of 2012, gathered at Arundel Castle ahead of the film’s premiere tonight (Monday, May 14).

Kristen Stewart, Charlize Theron, Chris Hemsworth and Sam Clafin posed for the cameras and were interviewed by movie journalists while the castle stayed closed to visitors from Friday until Sunday (May 11-13).

The castle was shrouded in secrecy over the closure, with a confidentiality agreement in place to stop any leaks.

However, an American journalist let the news slip out in her blog before jetting off to the UK to interview the celebrities, and while rumours remained rife in Arundel itself about why the castle was closed, journalists and the stars themselves began circulating details on social media as the weekend went on.

Two Air Harrods helicopters which landed on the watermeadows opposite the castle are thought to have flown the celebrities in for the event and a fleet of executive minibuses ferried journalists and other guests between the castle and the Goodwood Hotel, near Chichester, where it’s thought they were staying.

Kristen Stewart is reported to have stayed at Bailiffscourt Hotel and was also photographed beside a mobile coffee stall in Durrington.
