Soak the teacher at All Saints
It came as no surprise to find out the big money spinner at All Saints School fair on Saturday was the opportunity to get a teacher thoroughly drenched, but there was plenty more for visitors to enjoy as they made the most of some rare summer sun.
Children were encouraged to 'create a monster' as part of a craft competition as well as try their hand at the summer fair staples of games, raffles and competitions.

Head teacher David Haddow found himself in charge of the barbecue and said how grateful he was for the warm weather as the Observer caught him trying to ignite the coals.
Deputy head Corinne McGregor took collections on the front gate with her fireman's helmet.
She said: "It is organised by the friends of the school and we are particularly grateful to them and the children, staff and certain parents who help to put it on."
