Southwick crash victim was 22-year-old from Worthing

POLICE have named the man who died following a crash on the A27 near Southwick tunnel on Tuesday (March 31).

Mohammed Nazeer Hussain '“ also known to his friends as Lipu Ahmed '“ died after his car left the road and ended up on a bank at 8.15am.

The 22-year-old from Mill Road, Worthing, crashed one mile before the Southwick tunnel on the eastbound carriageway.

The circumstances of how the car left the carriageway are still unclear and police are appealling for witnesses.
