Stepin2Activites at Bexhill High

VARIOUS groups in Bexhill have been promoting their activities to students and parents from Bexhill High School and King Offa Primary School.

The three-hour 'Stepin2Activities' event took place at the High School site in Down Road.

The hall was full of displays from local clubs, and various demonstrations took place on the stage.

Among the groups represented were Brighton and Hove Albion FC, the 1066 Gymnastics and the Freestylers dance group.

The Bexhill High School band also performed with Vox, a group of singers from the school.

In one of the gyms, there was a chance to have a coaching session with Polegrove Bowls Club.

Year 11 student Kira Donno, who plays bowls, said: "I'm here to help demonstrate and get younger people into bowls."

There were many other items to grab young people's attention such as an under-4s play area, food and drink, free t-shirts, pens, pencils, badges, and a laptop presentation.
