Steyning photographic celebration of grant
STEYNING Camera Club celebrated a grant of £5,877 from the Lottery Awards for All scheme at a presentation and competition evening in the Steyning Centre.
The money will enable the club to extend its equipment, especially to cater for the digital era.
County councillor Derek Deedman handed over the cheque to one of the first founders of the club in 1972, and president, Hilda Metcalfe. She thanked Mr Deedman for his help with the successful application.
The handover was combined with a competition evening, including entries for the West Sussex Gazette cup.
