STORIES and songs ensured an annual holiday Bible club was, once again, a success.
Held for four days every summer at Storrington Chapel, in North Sreet, Storrington, it is aimed at teaching children aged four to 11 the messages of the Bible.
This year’s club was held at the end of August.
One of the co-ordinators, Margaret White, said: “It went very well. We averaged around 35 children each day, although we had 48 on our books altogether.
“There was plenty of fun, and they were learning the messages of the Bible in a clear and simple way.
“As well as stories from the Bible, they looked to the theme of the Olympics to learn about running the race for God.”
The club culminated in a barbecue at the end of the week, to which family and friends were invited.
