Students' art takes pride of place

Pieces created by A-level fine art students from Worthing College now take pride of place in the new Liverpool Gardens offices of Bennett Griffin.

The works, which will stay in the offices for six months, were produced as part of the students’ coursework and follow the themes of ‘new perspectives’ and ‘truth, fantasy or fiction’.

Each young artist - including Isabel Collins, whose work is pictured - received a gift voucher from the law firm.

College principal Paul Riley said: "As the principal I am always delighted when the talents of our students are showcased locally, regionally and nationally.

“It is particularly pleasing when local businesses can engage with the work of our amazingly talented visual arts students, who regularly produce outstanding pieces that deserve an opportunity to be seen and admired outside of the college in our local community.

“The rich and varied pieces kindly being displayed at Bennett Griffin reflect the diversity of our students’ interests and inspirations and each of them is a credit to the students and their teachers in the college.”
