Kevin is a GCSE assistant examiner as well as a contributor to history textbooks and a former head of history.

He will take students through the basics they need to understand the GCSE history exam this June. Pupils will look at all styles of questions, what an examiner is looking for, what to do if they get stuck and also how to get top marks. There will be a chance to work with other students and tackle exam paper questions.

Parents and teachers are welcome to attend. Past exam papers and resources will be available.

The cost of the workshop is £15 per person. Refreshments will be available but students need to provide their own lunch.

More workshops will follow at Easter and in May and June.
