Sunday service for Shoreham Airshow plane crash victims planned

A SPECIAL service will be held in Shoreham tomorrow to remember the victims of today’s Shoreham Airshow plane crash (Saturday, August 22).

Prayers and a minute’s silence will be held at St Mary de Haura church, in Church Street, at 10am.

Candles will then be lit in St George’s Chapel after the service.

Tea and coffee will be served.

The Diocese of Chichester Facebook page posted the following message: “Prayers for all those affected by the Shoreham Airport crash today. Our chaplains were at the scene and in the hospitals supporting the emergency services.”
