Survey gives West Sussex residents a say on crime

RESIDENTS are being given the chance to have their say on crime and community safety.

A special survey is giving West Sussex residents the chance to say how they feel about crime and safety in their own community.

The survey has been designed in consultation with partner organisations, with the responses being used to improve customer satisfaction with West Sussex services.

It will also assist the West Sussex Strategic Community Safety Partnership to identify priorities and prepare for the new Police and Crime Commissioner, who will be publicly elected in November this year.

Christine Field, West Sussex cabinet member for public protection, said: “I hope as many people as possible will complete the survey. We want to hear the voices of local people, to use their knowledge and concerns to help shape our priorities to address crime and community safety with our partners across West Sussex.”

The survey is available until July 31 and will take about 10 to 15 minutes to complete.
