Sussex Police donate money to charities

SUSSEX Police’s rugby football club has raised £10,000 for charities in the past few months.

The club donated £3,025 of the money to Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice, near Angmering, following a charity auction and raffle at the club’s annual black tie dinner.

St Wilfred’s Hospice and Cancerwise, both in Chichester, were given £578 each after the club held a fund-raising rugby match in memory of Eddie Bristow who died from cancer last year.
