Sussex traffic: Collisions, sheep, and roadworks causing delays

The A22 at Horsebridge is reported as partially blocked both ways due to a collision between a van and a motorbike between the Boship Roundabout and Mansers Lane (Lower Dicker).

The A272 Rocky Lane at Haywards Heath (westbound) is reported to be partially blocked due to a one-vehicle collision between B2112 Fox Hill and Rocky Drive. Traffic is coping well.

The A283 Stopham Road at Stopham is said to be partially blocked both ways due to a collision near The White Hart Pub. Traffic is coping well.

There is very slow traffic on the A27 Polegate Bypass (eastbound) between Brown Jack Avenue and A22 Polegate Road (Cophall Roundabout). In the roadworks area.

The A27 Shoreham Bypass is said to be partially blocked due to a broken down vehicle at A270 Upper Shoreham Road (Southwick/Holmbush turn off). Traffic is coping well.

On the M23 at Crawley all lanes are now open after a broken down vehicle was removed from the northbound carriageway between J10 A264 Copthorne Way (Crawley) and J9 (Gatwick Airport).

There are reports of sheep on the A26 at Herons Ghyll, both ways at the cricket ground. Though traffic is coping well, drivers are told to approach with care.

Sheep have also been spotted on the A272 Bolney Lane in Cowfold, near the Village Hall roundabout. Again, drivers are told to approach with care.
