Passengers using the train services today can expect some disruption in the west of the county.

Southern is cancelling some services this morning due to shortages of train crew.

The 09:23 Brighton to West Worthing train is cancelled today and passengers travelling on services between Shoreham and Brighton may travel by Brighton and Hove bus services as an alternative.

The 10:13 West Worthing to Brighton is also not running due to the same reasons, as is the 10:23 Brighton to West Worthing train, which is cancelled.

The 10:33 Brighton to Southampton Central will no longer call at Brighton, Hove, Portslade, Southwick, Shoreham-by-Sea, Lancing, Worthing, West Worthing, Durrington-on-Sea, Goring-by-Sea, Angmering and Ford.

This is due to a shortage of train crew.

The 10:57 Littlehampton to Portsmouth & Southsea service is cancelled due to a shortage of train crew as is the 11:13 West Worthing to Brighton service

The 11:13 Southampton Central to Horsham train will no longer call at Horsham due to a shortage of train crew.

Tomorrow (Sunday, May 15) there are planned engineering works on some train services.

There will be no services between Robertsbridge and Hastings. all services will be replaced by buses between both towns.

Engineering work is also taking place between Three Bridges and Billingshurst with all lines closed tomorrow.

A replacement bus service will run instead.

Southern services will also be replaced by buses between Bexhill and Ashford International tomorrow.
