Teenagers arrested after Worthing robbery

THREE boys have been arrested following a street robbery on Worthing promenade.

The attack took place near the yacht club, at 7.30pm on Monday, January 3.

A police dog unit searched the area and found three boys matching the suspects’ descriptions near George V Avenue.

The suspects, aged 14, 15 and 16, ran from police but were quickly detained after the police dog tracked their scent.

They are accused of robbing a 21-year-old man of his i-Pod after pushing him to the ground and kicking him in the face, causing his mouth to bleed.

The suspects, all from Worthing, are currently in custody awaiting interview.
