West Sussex County Council will be hosting the evening on Tuesday March 22 at Parkside in Chart Way, Horsham, from 6.30pm.

The fostering recruitment team is particularly looking for people who could support teenagers, unaccompanied asylum seekers, and young parents who are placed with their child in the foster carer’s home.

All foster carers receive local support, training and a fostering allowance.

Peter Evans, WSCC’s cabinet Member for Children – Start of Life said: “There is no upper age limit to fostering and you don’t have to be married, own your property or have children of your own. As long as you are reasonably fit, have a spare room and the desire to make a difference to someone’s life, you could be considered.”
