Teenagers organise fun day in Tarring for charity

A CHARITY fun day is being organised in Tarring by a group of teenagers with the National Citizen Service (NCS).

The group, called Flying Bananas, wants to help raise awareness and money for The Saturn Centre at Crawley Hospital.

The Saturn Splash Day will be held at Thomas A’Becket Junior School’s field in Glebeside Avenue, Worthing, on Wednesday, August 19, from 11am to 7.30pm.

There will be sports, stalls and a bake sale during the day, followed by an open mic session and music from 5.30pm.

Benjamin Saunders, a member of the NCS group, said: “Our charity work we have chosen is supporting Saturn, which is a sexual assault referral clinic for Sussex.”
