Teens punched in the face in Worthing assault

Police have released an image of a man they would like to identify in connection with an assault on two teenagers in Worthing.

The victims, 15 and 13, were sat outside KFC on Broadwater Street, Worthing, at around 7.30pm on Friday 27 July when they were approached by a man, police said.

The suspect then punched both boys in the face, causing one to suffer a broken nose, before running away from the scene, according to police.

Police describe the man as white, around 5ft 8ins, between 25 and 30-years-old and of stocky build.

He was wearing a black flat cap, black jumper, black jeans and black trainers, said police.
