Theft of Littlehampton restaurant board

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after the theft of an advertising board belonging to Vadar Restaurant in Littlehampton.

The theft occurred sometime between 11pm and 11.30pm outside the restaurant in Selbourne Place on Thursday, July 5.

The board was advertising a four course meal for £13.99.

PC Caroline Bond from Worthing Response Investigation Team said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the advertising board being taken or know its current whereabouts.

“Please call 101 quoting serial 0553 of 13/7 if you have any information that could us with our enquiries. You can also call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”

A man seen taking the sign is described as white, in his early 30s, about 6ft 2in to 6ft 3in tall and of slim build with short shaved dark brown hair. He was wearing a white and black horizontal striped shirt and jeans.
