Thief stole trikes from Durrington school

A SCHOOL is pleading for the return of a children's trike stolen from its grounds.

Thieves stole four trikes from Hawthorns First School in Poplar Road, Durrington between Wednesday, March 17 at 6pm and 6.30am the following morning.

Three of the trikes were recovered but the fourth is still missing.

Two yellow trikes were recovered from a neighbour's garden, and one of the red ones was found in an alley way close by and returned to the school by one of the parents.

A Winther trike is still missing and is described as made from metal with black rubber wheels, black handle bars and a black seat and is worth 59.99.

Anyone with information should call 0845 6070999 and quote serial reference number 924 of the 18th March 2010.
