Thieves target Worthing town centre cancer charity shop

THIEVES stole a weekend’s worth of takings from a cancer charity shop in an incident that police have described as “beyond belief”.

Taking a total of £546.50, the thieves broke into the Marie Curie Cancer Care shop, in Montague Street, Worthing, between 4pm on Sunday, February 1, and 8.55am on Monday, February 2.

The burglars entered through a skylight in the roof and then proceeded to force open the cabinet that held the money.
