This is why three fire engines were in a Worthing residential street
Three fire engines were called to a residential street in Worthing earlier today.
And the fire service has now confirmed firefighters were called to Tamar Close due to a small kitchen fire.
Three engines were called to the fire at 6.17pm but the fire service said it had been put out by the time they arrived.
The kitchen fire was started accidentally, a spokesman said, and crews left the scene at 7.05pm.
