Thousands of maggots found in wheelie bin
A BUXTON Drive family asked the Observer to come and picture the disgusting sight of a three-inch deep pile of maggots in their wheelie bin.
The family, who wish to remain anonymous, say they are plagued with flies and fear for the health of their three young children.
They blame Rother District Council's new collection regime for the build up of rubbish attracting flies and say fortnightly collection is inadequate - especially when collection times are missed leaving the bins full of rubbish for even longer than two weeks.
