Tickets go on sale for the Big Green Cardigan Festival

Earlybird tickets are due to go on sale for the Big Green Cardigan Festival which takes place near Sedlescombe in September.

The first tickets will be available from Saturday February 14.

The festival is known for its diversity and for being small, friendly and ‘chilled’.

As well as there being some incredible international artists (names to be announced soon), the festival also embraces the region’s blues, roots and acoustic scene

Festival-goers can expect home-cooked food, local real ales, yoga, outdoor activities and many other attractions.

There is a quiet camping area on the festival site.

Numbers are strictly limited and the festival has a no children policy.

There is a large car park less than 50 meters from the site.

Dogs are not allowed into the festival except for guide dogs

A festival organiser said: “There is no distinctive style, the theme is it there is no theme. Any style is possible from blues to klezmer to jazz, but it will all be of a high standard, real music, real musicians.
