Opened in March by Tim and Matt Taylor, The Beach House bar and café in Marine Parade has quickly built up a reputation as a food destination.
Tim said: “Since we opened in March, 2014, as a modern, forward-thinking freehouse, we have had an overwhelming positive response, both from customers and the town generally.”
Matt added: “The Beach House helps showcase the town and is one of the businesses at the forefront of helping Worthing evolve from sleepy retirement resort, to a vibrant, locally-owned, locally-run seaside gem.”

She said: “They have created a lovely, modern and lively cafe in the heart of Shoreham.
“The coffee is fabulous - they have single blend and specials - the best coffee in the area. They often have guest baristas and their coffee is all ethically sourced. Most of their products are locally sourced.”
High Street neighbours Tosca have been nominated by Martin Bloomfield.

He said: “I think it would be good for Enver, the team and the restaurant to have their hard work recognised over this long period of time.
“Enver is not a person to sing his own praises or a person who needs to get things completed.
“Once you get to know him, you will find a humorous and charismatic person who has led a fascinating career, of opportunities grasped to facing uncertain challenges.
