Full-size and model steam engines will be on display and working around the museum’s 40-acre site, which is set in the South Downs National Park.

There will also be a wide range of exhibits, including commercial vehicles, military vehicles, miniature steam engines, narrow-gauge railways, model boats, and classic cars.

In addition, the Jaguar Enthusiasts’ Club will be hosting their Portsmouth region annual event at the show.

A galloper riding device, powered by a Fowler showman’s steam engine, will also be at the event at the centre of a small traditional vintage fairground.

Visitors to the show can also take a ride on the narrow-gauge steam railway around the edge of the millpond, and enjoy displays in the events field arena, which will include the ‘steer and steam engine’ event and the St Giles horse-drawn steam fire engine.

Richard Pailthorpe, museum director, said: “Many of the marvellous vehicles on display have been lovingly restored
and reflect how transport has evolved since the beginning of the 20th century.
