TRAFFIC ALERT: Delayed A27 road works

Both carriageways of the A27 Upper Brighton Road, between Broadwater roundabout and Sompting bypass in Worthing, will be improved.

The work, scheduled to last for four weeks, will be done between 8pm and 6am when traffic volumes are lowest to minimise delays.

During these times only, there will be single-lane closures on both carriageways and temporary traffic lights at various locations.

Some roads will also be closed where they join the A27.

Any work expected to be noisy will be completed before 11pm each night whenever possible.
