South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) were called to the scene at 9.33am on Wednesday after a motorbike collided with an 18-year-old man.

An ambulance and response cars were dispatched and the man was assessed by a critical care paramedic and the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) team, a SECAmb spokesperson confirmed.

He was taken by ambulance to Royal County Sussex Hospital in Brighton with a head injury for further assessment and treatment.

Patient was conscious and responding when they conveyed him to hospital, SECAmb confirmed.
