UPDATE: Marine Parade open again after woman is in collision with car

Marine Parade in Worthing has reopened after being closed due to a collision involving a female pedestrian wand a slow moving vehicle, police say.

Officers were called at 4.51pm today and the road was closed in both directions while the woman was checked over.

She hit her head in the incident and was taken to Worthing Hospital but her injuries are not believed to be serious, according to police.

A police spokesperson said at 7.20pm that the road had reopened.
