Train theft thwarted as teen tackles thief
A COLLEGE student heroically foiled the theft of an elderly woman’s bag on the train he was travelling on.
Jordan Bain, 18, of Robson Road, Durrington, tackled the thief to the ground following a chase through the train’s carriages.
Jordan said: “I was just sitting down minding my own business. There was an elderly lady sat on my right and on the left there was some hooded kid. He jumped up and swiped this woman’s bag and started running down the train.”
“It was a split second decision to help.”
