A27 gas main works causing long delays
Emergency gas main works have been causing long delays between Worthing and Shoreham.
The works involve a temporary lane closure on the westbound A27 Upper Brighton Road at the junction with Busticle Lane.
SGN said the lane has been closed for ‘emergency repairs’ after a gas escape.
Traffic reports say congestion is backing up to Shoreham.
