BREAKING NEWS: Mum and baby sent to hospital after driver flees car accident scene

A mother and baby were sent to hospital last night (November 12) after their vehicle overturned on its roof and the driver fled the scene, police have confirmed.

Emergency services were called to the collision in Meredith Road, Worthing at around 11.40pm.

A spokesman from Sussex Police confirmed the vehicle had overturned on its roof.

The woman and baby were assessed by medics at the scene.

The driver is reported to be missing, a police officer confirmed.
