Driver released from rolled car near Ashington
A man was released from his car by firefighters after the vehicle overturned on the A24 near Ashington yesterday (Sunday August 10).
Emergency services were called at about 10.50am,
The elderly male driver of the Hyundai i20 was released using small tools and treated at the scene by paramedics.
He was later taken to Worthing Hospital.
The road had to be closed northbound at the Washington roundabout while the road was cleared.
