There were reports of slow traffic on Franklynn Road in Haywards Heath earlier this afternoon (Thursday, December 8) due to a crash near Princess Royal Hospital.
AA Traffic News reported at 12.45pm that there had been a collision on the B2272 with both directions affected near the Texaco Garage.
Sussex Police confirmed that the incident involved two cars but said there were no injuries. They added that the road was clear by 3pm.
