July Alate from Goring was sad she could not ride her favourite Gatwick Express train during lockdown – so she made a replica out of cardboard, winning a prize from the Royal Academy of Arts.

And to top it off, July – who has autism – recently received a gift from the managing director of Gatwick Express to toast her success, including a jacket and teddy bear.

Her mum Nicolette said it was ‘happiness in a box for July’ and she would be sure to wear the jacket to the exhibition preview in London.
