Sussex traffic report – the latest incidents, restrictions, and roadworks this evening

The roads are currently quiet this evening as lockdown continues to reduce the number of vehicles out and about.

Madeira Drive and Dukes Mound in Brighton are still closed due to coronavirus travel restrictions between Palace Pier and Sussex Square.

While in Eastbourne there is telecoms work on Bourne Street at Longstone Road.

Also in Eastbourne there are temporary traffic signals due to water main work on Atlantic Drive both ways at Prince William Parade.

In Bexhill there is gas main work on Sutherland Avenue between Cranston Avenue and A259 Little Common Road.

West Street in Hastings is closed due to electricity work both ways near Marine Parade/A259.

In Crawley there are temporary traffic signals due to gas main work on Downland Drive at Clayton Hill/Downland Drive.

In Worthing, temporary traffic signals are in place for telecoms work on Rowlands Road at St Valerie Road.

While in Chichester, there are stop/go boards and water main work on Tangmere Road at Gamecock Terrace. Part of long term water main works, the boards are located nearby the nursery.

Temporary lights are also in place in Kingsmead Avenue around Palmers Field Avenuee for water main work taking place there.

Also in Chichester, temporary traffic signals are in place for main work on B2178 Old Broyle Road between Norwich Road and Brandy Hole Lane.
