An accident involving several vehicles this afternoon has led to a road being partially closed to motorists.

The A2011 Crawley Avenue Westbound is partially blocked at the A2219 London Road (Tushmore Roundabout) due to the collision, according to the AA.

Traffic in the area is very slow with long queues on the approach from the east.

There is also very slow traffic due to an earlier lorry fire on A27 Shoreham Bypass Westbound around A283 Steyning Road, the AA reports.

Very slow traffic and traffic heavier than normal is also being reported this evening on A284 Lyminster Road Southbound at A259.

There is slow traffic on the A27 Chichester Bypass at A286 Stockbridge Road (Stockbridge Roundabout) on approach to the roundabout.

The AA also reports slow traffic on the A27 Polegate Bypass Eastbound between The Throughbred Pub and A22 Polegate Road (Cophall Roundabout) in the construction area. A lane closures is in place.

In St Leonards there are reports of slow traffic on the A21 Sedlescombe Road North Southbound at A2100 Junction Road.
