There is slow traffic due to sunny weather on New Lydd Road both ways at Camber Road due to people heading to Camber Beach.

There is also slow traffic on Pett Level Road both ways between Pett Road and Sea Road.

It is affecting traffic between Rye and Camber as people are heading to the beach, according to travel reports.

Traffic is slow due to beachgoers on A259 Carlisle Parade both ways around A21 Harold Place.

There is also two miles of queuing traffic on the A27 Lewes Road both ways around The Street (Arlington/Litlington turn off) in the construction area.

Works by the van dealership are affecting traffic between Drusillas Park and Polegate. Travel time is 15 minutes.

Road blocked and queueing traffic due to an earlier crash on the A26 New Road both ways between B2109 Avis Road and the North industrial estate.

Recovery is reported to be underway.

Traffic is also slow on the A259 High Street Westbound at A283 Old Shoreham Road (The Bridge Inn roundabout).

In the Shoreham area there is queueing traffic on the A27 Shoreham By Pass Westbound at A283 Steyning Road (Steyning turn off).

There are long delays due to holiday traffic on the A286 Stockbridge Road at A27 Chichester By Pass (Stockbridge Roundabout).

It is thought to be traffic heading away from West Wittering Beach and Dell Quay Marine after the nice weather.

Pook Lane is also reported as shut but there is no other information available about the closure.

In Barnham, water mains work has closed B2233 Barnham Road both ways between Lake Lane and Gospond Road.

In Worthing, one lane is closed on Tarring Road, near West Worthing Railway Station, due to ongoing telecoms work.

Water mains work is taking place on B2195 Harwood Road both ways between Horsham Railway Station and Kings Road. A closure has been put in place by Southern Water.

One lane remains closed due to construction on M23 Northbound at J10 A264 Copthorne Way (Crawley). Lane one (of three) is closed.

The B2165 remains closed both ways between Watts Palace Lane and Watermill Lane, outside Rye, due to water mains works.

In Crowborough, Whitehill Road is closed due to construction on Whitehill Road both ways between Fermor Road and Mill Lane.

College Road in Seaford remains closed both ways from Corsica Road to Cricketfield Road due to gas main works.

In Brighton, Madeira Drive and Dukes Mound remains closed between Palace Pier and Sussex Square due to coronavirus restriction measures.

On the railway network services are disrupted due to a fault with the signalling system between Brighton and Haywards Heath.

Lines have now reopened but disruption remains. Ticket acceptance is in place.
