Traffic 'gridlocked' on A259 in Worthing - This is why

Queueing traffic has been reported by the AA on A259 Brighton Road, both ways near Seamill Park Avenue. There is reportedly congestion to Ham Road back into Worthing, and back past Brooklands to Lancing Beach.

This is said to be due to lane closures for works ‘to replace street lights’.
