A TEENAGER is in hospital with serious head injuries after he was involved in a collision near Lancing seafront this morning (June 8).
The motorcyclist, who is in his late teens, was riding his Superbyke S-Max along Brighton Road, Lancing, at about 4.25am, when the incident happened.
He is currently in Hurstwood Park, a specialist neurological centre, with serious head injuries.
It is believed there were no other vehicles involved.
Brighton Road, at Brooklands Pleasure Park, was closed while an investigation took place, but has now been reopened.
Sussex Police are appealing for any witnesses to the collision to contact them on 101, quoting Operation Cypress.
