Worthing boy injured in Lancing collision

POLICE are appealing for information after a 16-year-old boy received serious injuries in a Lancing collision yesterday (Tuesday, May 10).

Officers were called to Tower Road, Lancing, at around 6.45pm after a collision between a moped, ridden by the boy, and a red Rover car.

As a result of the collision the boy, who is from Worthing, suffered a serious head injury and was taken to Worthing Hospital.

He has since been transferred to Hurstwood Park Hospital, in Haywards Heath.

The driver of the Rover, a local man in his 20s, was left uninjured.
