TRAVEL ALERT: Major road blocked after van crash

Police were called to the incident on the A283 The Pike, near Washington, at around 6pm.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said the crash involved one van and no serious injuries were reported.

The road has been partially blocked in both directions between the A24 London Road junction and the Chanctonbury Ring Road junction.

Officers are currently directing traffic whilst the vehicle is recovered.

Delays are being reported.
